We have had a fantastic weekend cooking for a 50th birthday celebration hog roast in Llandovery it was quite a laid back affair in a large garden with the event running all afternoon. We had an early stat as we had to have the food ready from 1pm and keep it going through until 4pm. To keep it fresh and interesting we ran a bbq along side the hog roast and kept doing different things all day long. It worked really well with hot sausages, fish, ribs etc coming fresh from the bbq to accompany the pig and salads. Definitely one to consider for the future so if you have an event coming up with a long drawn out serve time maybe it is worth giving us a call to discuss the bbq option. We really enjoyed the experience as well and I must confess I ate so much food.
