Hog Roast Ammanford were contacted with an enquiry to cater for around 100 people at Cwmgors Rugby Club; catering for this type of event is something that we regularly do and we also know how hungry rugby players usually are!
Hog Roast Ammanford regularly caters for corporate events, wedding and private parties like this and has created a selection of five menus to cater for different requirements ranging from Our Firm Favourite Classic Slow Roasted Hog in a Roll or Wrap suitable for stand-up informal gatherings through to formal events that requires sit-down service. This client was very clear what they wanted – Hog in a Roll, which was a great choice for this type of informal gathering. For all events, Hog Roast Ammanford always liaises closely with the client to ensure that all expectations are met (and regularly surpassed!) and that the most appropriate menu is selected. There are many caterers to choose from for this type of event to cater for a wide range of tastes but what makes us stand out from the rest is our consistently great food and flexible and professional service and adaptability to cater indoors or outdoors.
We arrived in plenty of time to set up for a serving time of 8.30 and it was clear from some of the guests as we were setting up that they were in for a treat. Once we started serving the feedback was amazing and all of our customers loved it with plenty of very complimentary feedback about the quality of the food and our friendly and professional service… but mainly about the golden crackling and juicy, tender, lean meat! Many of the guests came back for seconds… and thirds… and some for even more – as we expected!!! These rugby players have ravenous appetites and a distinctive taste for really high quality, delicious food.
A great time was had by all with everyone fully satisfied with the food and once it was eaten, we discreetly packed up and look forward to catering for them next time.
