Hog Roast Bangor Handled A Wedding Fit For Royalty!

Hog Roast BangorThere’s no shortage of stunning views here in Wales! Between the rolling hills, sky-scraping mountain scenes and coastal vistas, you best believe there’s beauty around every corner. And as one of the country’s most-requested catering services, Hog Roast Bangor is more privileged than most to be able to witness these gorgeous places up close on a regular basis!

Dubbed the ‘land of castles’ by tourists and locals alike, it’s perhaps no surprise that a lot of our bookings take place in these ancient buildings. From weddings to birthday parties and everything in between, castles are brilliant for adding a touch of glamour and elegance to all sorts of special occasions, and last weekend we had the pleasure of visiting a beautifully-designed French-style palace for Amy and Samuel’s wedding.

Complete with turrets, ornate fixtures and balconies with views overlooking the peaks of Snowdonia, this spectacular venue couldn’t have been more perfect for the princess-style wedding that Amy had envisioned having since childhood. 80 guests were able to join the pair in celebrating this special day, and Hog Roast Bangor was on hand to serve our extravagant Formal Wedding Catering Menu With An Evening Buffet.

As always, Brad, our catering manager, took the lead on this event and utilising his time-management skills and impeccable attention to detail, he was able to whip up an exceptional spread, which began with a canape selection that was served to guests as they arrived by our waiting staff. Next up was the Scottish smoked salmon starter, followed by a choice of whole-roasted sirloin of English beef, whole-roasted free-range chicken or grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers with tzatziki dip and sweet chilli sauce. The guests were also welcome to spice up their meals with a selection of salad options, gourmet coleslaw and buttered new potatoes.

Once everyone had finished eating, Hog Roast Bangor’s staff collected the empty plates and replaced them with either profiteroles or vacherins of strawberries with passion fruit cream, depending on the guests’ choice. The next few hours saw the guests dancing the night away, reigniting their appetite for something tasty!

Hog Roast Bangor came to rescue their rumbling tums just in time with a buffet of hot bacon and sausage barms, which were followed up with a slice of wedding cake, tea or coffee and mints.

The couple were delighted with the service our team provided and couldn’t thank us enough for making their day feel so special.
