Last weekend was a very exciting one for all of us here at Hog Roast Tremadog, as our team was enlisted to help out with a stag party!
As the best man, Daniel had been responsible for organising the whole affair, and he was desperate to give the groom, Ross, a fantastic two-day-long celebration.
After messing around with a few ideas, he came up with an ingenious plan to host a two-day outdoor experience for the group of 16, which consisted of all the groomsmen and a few of Ross’s close friends and family members.
Daniel’s hope was that the rugged outdoor activities would help the group bond and fill them with a lifetime of memories that would be fondly remembered for decades to come. So, with that, he set out to book a log cabin for the weekend, which was a stone’s throw away from a paintballing arena, archery class and a tough mudder course.
All those activities certainly kept the lads busy – as did the nearby pub, where the group happily rounded off their first evening with several rounds of ale! The whole group, and Ross, in particular, were all extremely grateful to Daniel for planning the celebration. But little did they know that their host had one last surprise up his sleeve for them!
On Sunday, while the boys were off on their final outdoor adventure, Hog Roast Tremadog showed up at the cabin and set to work preparing our Classic Hog Roast Menu. Our catering manager, Brad, took the lead on this event, and, with him at the helm, our crew rustled up an irresistible banquet of slow-cooked pork, complete with crispy crackling, sage and onion stuffing and applesauce just in time for the group to arrive back.
Daniel’s last surprise was very well-received – especially after such a long day – and the boys wasted no time getting stuck into the mouth-watering buffet! Hog Roast Tremadog completed the banquet with a selection of mixed fries, coleslaw and fresh salads, which everyone found to be extremely tasty and the perfect way to end an incredible weekend.
