This past weekend we had the pleasure of once again exhibiting the brilliance of a rustic style venue with our rustic mode of dining. Catering for a wedding at the picturesque Green Grove Barns, the Hog Roast Llangadog team provided our specialist skills at hog roast to make an already wonderful special day even better. To be at Green Grove Barns catering was a real pleasure. It is a family run venue which we mention only because it mirrors how many of our fellow teams across the country are run. Family owned businesses have always been near and dear to our heart for this reason, as well as just seeing the strength of another locally owned business continuing to thrive, much like our own at Hog Roast Llangadog. Plus, the Green Grove Barns were also just a brilliant setting to be working in. Incredible views out to the Welsh hills – the Black Mountains, Towy Valley, to the Brecon Beacons all available in a 360 degree span!
What better a place then to be setting up our spit and have a whole pig roast nicely for the better part of the day before then serving up plenty of crisp and tender pork to our 140 guests. Further buffet options of sage and onion stuffing, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, BBQ pulled jackfruit, buttered corn cobettes, fresh fries and refreshing salad accompaniments made this a perfect rustic menu for a very special day.
