My we are blessed another heat wave hitting the country I think we had all presumed that it would be woolly jumpers and coco! But no the sun still out there and we are so pleased to have had such an amazing summer and we really have had a fantastic time hog roasting in llandeilo. Saturday we were out and catering for a birthday celebration for a local in the village a well known figure the local Mayor, a really nice chap and he was celebrating his 65th birthday the Local Town Hall was the venue and hog roast Llandeilo had been given the large room to cater as lots of important people were attending as well as lots of family and friends. 
A nice pig was the first thing to get cooking and we placed the meat on immediately to cook we were asked to make a sandwich buffet with pork, crackling and apple sauce sandwiches and chicken and stuffing sandwiches, the chickens were then put onto cook and whist we waited for the hog roast Llandeilo we then started to slice the buns and did we have some amount nice huge soft buns and then we began with the salad and potato wedges all was looking ever so splendid as we waited for the guest of honour to arrive soon the Mayor arrived and looked splendid showing off his huge chains and his face was radiant as he looked at the meat cooking he was particularly taken with the pig. We started to carve the meat and place the meat into the sandwiches and the plates looked amazing with a sprinkling of colourful salad and lots of tasty dips, everyone sat down to enjoy the food and we carved the whole pig and al the thirty five chickens and all the guests were more than satisfied, after the event the Mayor thanked us and he asked if we would be interested in coming to cater for the Mayors Annual Ball at the end of the year and we jumped at the chance! We love getting bookings after an event shows we have done such a good job…
