Easter weekend is a great time to enjoy with family, regardless of whether you celebrate the traditions or not. It is a long weekend of sunshine, time off, and lots of chocolate! A local pub hosted an Easter egg hunt during April, with plenty of eggs to give away to guests of all ages! Along with the hunt, the guests could enjoy great drinks, live music, and delicious food from Hog Roast Cowbridge. Our catering manager was asked to provide a variety of different dishes for the guests to enjoy, to ensure that there would be something for everyone to enjoy, including guests of all ages. After looking through our menus, it was decided that our Gourmet BBQ menu would be the ideal choice.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Cowbridge team arrived in the morning to prepare for the event, which was lasting for the duration of the afternoon. We began by preparing the main dishes and ensuring that they were grilled to perfection. The mains included succulent sausages, juicy British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, and marinated chicken kebabs. This wide variety included plenty for the guests to enjoy and there was more than enough to go around! Alongside the mains, we also served a variety of tasty sides, including crunchy coleslaw, corn cobettes, Caesar salad, homemade chips, and fresh bread rolls. Our menu was a delicious addition to the day and went down a treat with the Easter eggs, a great selection of drinks, and sunny weather.
