With interest rates on the rise and the current financial climate eating into everyone’s budget, getting on the property ladder just got even more challenging, but Robert and Carly weren’t going to let that stop them from achieving their dreams.
From the early days of their relationship, the couple had been squirrelling money away for their future, and once they hit their target savings amount earlier this year, they officially began their house-hunting journey. After countless viewings, putting offers in only to be outbid time and again and having two sales fall through, it was a huge relief for Robert and Carly when they were finally handed the keys to their new home six weeks ago.
Eager to observe their mighty feat and celebrate their success with their loved ones, one of the first things the couple did after setting up their new pad was start planning a housewarming party. It might be unconventional to start party prep so soon after a big move, but Robert and Carly were determined not to let the opportunity pass them by, plus they wanted to thank their families for supporting them through what has been a long and gruelling journey by treating them to a tasty meal.
Lucky for them, they found Hog Roast Llanberis to cater for their get-together, and our team made sure that the booking process was as smooth and hassle-free as possible. The couple were extremely grateful for all of the help our team provided and they found our catering manager, Brad, a pleasure to work with.
The couple had opted to keep things simple with our Classic Hog Roast Menu, so on the day of their housewarming party, Brad and the Hog Roast Llanberis team arrived hours before the celebrations kicked off to give the meat enough time to cook through. Whilst the meat sizzled away on the grill, they prepared a batch of BBQ pulled jackfruit for the small number of vegetarian and vegan guests, along with inclusive sides, which consisted of salad, coleslaw and mixed fries.
Once the guests had arrived and had a nosey about the couple’s new home, Hog Roast Llanberis treated everyone to a flavourful hog roast or jackfruit roll, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The delicious meal was paired with a glass of champagne, wine or craft beer and was rounded off with a plate of rich and chocolatey profiteroles.
