The Spitting Pig Wales team travelled to Brecon today for the post wedding hog roast in Llanfrynach. The venue was the luxury ‘Barn at Brynich’ wedding Venue not far from the little village of Llanfrynach. Sarah & John had been married the day before and the select party of 50 guests were treated to Spitting Pig Wales specialty – the Southern Slow Roast Menu. A shoulder of free range rare breed pig, bred on their farm in Llanfynydd, a brisket of Beef and a double leg of lamb, potato wedges, tomato & mozzarella, spring leaf salad and a vegetarian quiche option kept the guests happy after their long night of celebrations.
The weather had been perfect for their wedding day, clear blue skies & sunshine. Not today, however, the rain clouds had formed and a steady ‘heavy’ rain set in. The Spitting Pig Wales team undeterred, set up their gazebo to cook from then transferred the food inside to be served – much to the relief of the guests!
Another successful hog roast in Llanfrynach completed by the Spitting Pig Wales team, we quietly packed up and left the guests to relax, contended with good food & company, before their journeys home. It was a short drive home for Spitting Pig Wales, returning to their farm in Llanfynydd.
