The Spitting Pig Wales team didn’t have far to travel today for the wedding celebration of Alex and Grace. The small village of Llandysul, north west from our farm in Llanfynydd was the venue, in Alex parents large back garden. Tipi marques provided a very laid back setting, with smaller bell tents for guests wishing to stay the night. There was a volley ball net set up, giant Jenga and space hoppers! What a day it was going to be. Spitting Pig Wales was to provide one of its free range pigs, slowly cooked over 14 hours producing succulent, tender pork and crispy crackling.
To accompany the hog roast in Llandysul there was a selection of salads, homemade coleslaw, tomato & mozzarella and herb potatoes. The guests were in for a treat before their main course, anti-pasta, gorgeous cured salami & meats, stuffed olives, seared tuna, sugar snap peas & prawns, with water melon & grapes as a sweetener. The main meal was served at 6pm and the hungry guests quickly tucked into the gorgeous food provided by Spitting Pig Wales. The band started up and the evening celebrations got under way. Spitting Pig Wales Team discreetly packed away and left the guests to party into the night.
